I worked at Gorton’s at the end of 2019, and one of my main tasks was to create social content and strategy for one of Gorton’s sub-brands, Hook, Line and Savor.
Hook, Line and Savor had an issue with posting infrequency and non-cohesive branding. I went with a new branding design with a beige background to make the cyan packaging pop out more, and I kept this design throughout all my posts. I then wanted to highlight the nutrition facts such as dairy-free, gluten-free, etc. Hook, Line and Savor never experimented with unique story posts before, which is why I wanted to tackle it. I wanted to try animation for one story post, and I went with moving fishes and bubbles to give the story some life.
The SeaShare post was for a partner company to post and they wanted a blue background. The blue background blended with the cyan a lot, so in order to pop out the packaging, I added a drop shadow and an orange fish graphic behind the box.
